La Thuile, Italy

La Thuile is a little known Italian resort with extensive slopes and a lift and piste link with La Rosiere in France. The resort itself is split into two - the modern Planibel complex at the foot of the gondola and the old village across the river. Both parts have their own restaurants, bars and shops. Where you stay will ultimately depend on what you like. Do ask us for advice.

The 150km of piste provide a great network suitable for all standards of skier, furthermore La Thuile has an excellent snow record as most of the skiing is above 1,800 metres in altitude. Beginners and intermediates will love the wide pistes and for the more advanced there is the chance to try heli skiing.
