Luxury chalets in Courchevel Le Praz
Courchevel 1300, or Le Praz as it’s known by the locals, is a friendly, traditional rural village. It remains quiet, pleasant and a good base for families with children. However, please note that some of the luxury chalets in Courchevel Le Praz are set away from its two gondolas so a short walk in the morning may be required. The links to Courchevel 1850 are generally very efficient. However, skiers can take advantage of the resort's free connecting bus service to Courchevel 1850 as well.
The pistes leading down to the resort are particularly pleasant – most are tree lined and they are also perfect for bad weather days. For gastronomic connoisseurs lunch or dinner at the Bistrot du Praz is highly recommended and reputed to be one of the best eateries in the entire Three Valleys, famed for its foie gras chaud.
As a small resort there are only a few luxury chalets in Courchevel Le Praz. However, there is only one chalet in the Alps with its own squash court, as far as we know, and it happens to be here. So if you are a squash loving skier who also is looking for a luxury ski holiday then Courchevel Le Praz is the place to book.
