Hotel Cordee Des Alpes, Verbier, Switzerland

New to the Swiss resort of Verbier (December 2012) and a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Hotel Cordee des Alpes is a luxurious hotel with innovative interiors mixing the best of old school ski and the latest in Swiss chic. Comprising 32 suites and guest rooms (and 15 exclusive residences for private ownership), Cordee des Alpes marks the latest offering from local hotel and restaurant entrepreneur Marcus Bratter, responsible for launching Nevai, Verbier's first contemporary design hotel, the all-suite King's Parc Hotel and apres ski hotspot, The Farm Club. Cordee des Alpes will ensure a service that reflects a passion for excellence that has been honed by Marcus' years of local knowledge.

There are seven guestroom, suite and apartment categories: Comfort, Superior and Deluxe rooms; Elegance, Prestige and Exclusive Suites, and finally Cordee Apartments - each provides a cosy and intimate space for post mountain relaxation.

As well as a well-stocked minibar, en-suite bath/shower rooms and the indulgent interiors one expects from a luxury hotel, the rooms of the Cordee des Alpes feature comprehensive state-of-the-art technology - flat screen televisions and video on demand (providing access to all the latest movies) an i-Pad communicator that allows guests to explore and benefit from all the hotel's facilities and services at the touch of its screen, i-Pod dock and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Cordee des Alpes' intimate restaurant will serve a gastronomic menu of local and fresh flavours whilst the stylish bar, with its hearty open fireplace, will offer freshly made tea and cakes each afternoon and cocktails each evening, creating a welcoming, yet chic, space for guests to relax in.

The Cordee des Alpes concierge service (on hand 24/7) is there to ensure every aspect of your stay is perfect. More specifically orientated to skiing, the 'Boot Room Concierge' is Cordee des Alpes in-house ski technician who will be available each morning to advise on skiing conditions and ensure your equipment is in top condition before you head out onto the mountain for the day.

Verbier is without doubt one of Europe's top ski resorts. The 400km of skiing is spread over an area collectively known as the Four Valleys and offers something for every level of skier, including some of Europe's best off piste. The village is modern and attractive with many Verbier luxury hotels having been built in traditional style.

We say...
The Cordee Des Alpes combines rustic appeal with ultra modern amenities. The rooms are very good. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and the service and food are excellent.
