Hotel Alpina Deluxe is certainly one of the premier hotels of Obergurgl. The 80 bedrooms are divided between the Sonnberg wing and the main building, connected internally, and vary in size to accommodate just about any requirement. The hotel has a lovely cocktail bar and lounge with open fireplace and also a traditional stuberl (please note that mobile phones may only be used in the bedrooms). There is also a children's playroom although in all other parts of the hotel children must be under adult supervision.
Further attractions include daily afternoon pastry and cake buffet; Sunday breakfast with sparkling wine and weekly speciality dinner.
There is free childcare (from 3 years old upwards) from 9.30am - 4.30pm (Sunday - Friday) and this also includes lunch. There is also evening childcare from 7pm - 8.45pm.
Obergurgl is situated in the spectacular Oetz Valley and is Austria's highest parish, resulting in excellent snow records and a very long skiing season. The luxury hotels in Obergurgl are very good and the resort is a good spot for families with beginners.

The wonderful spa area has an indoor pool, 3 whirlpools, Turkish and salt steambaths, 3 saunas (swimsuits are allowed!). Beauty treatments and massage services are also available. Shuttle bus to and from the ski school. Ski passes are sold in the hotel. Internet access in all rooms.
