Situated close to the main street and the Sunnegga Express base lift station, the spacious and luxurious Zeus Penthouse is on the top floor (with lift access) of a recent chalet with unmatched views over Zermatt village towards the Matterhorn Mountain. It sleeps six in three double bedrooms and has two large bathrooms.
Zeus combines modern luxury with an Alpine feel. All the ceilings are wooden-beamed, their sloping aspect giving a cosy feel, while their double height in the living room provides the luxury of spaciousness. The tall south facing windows are floor to ceiling giving you a permanent panorama, both night and day, over the twinkling village and its majestic mountains.
A superbly equipped modern designer kitchen is open plan, giving onto the dining area with its big wooden table and generous seating. The large living area has a wide wood burning fireplace, leather sofas and subtle lighting. All these spaces give onto a wide south-facing balcony with unmatched views of Zermatt.
The three bedrooms have wood-beamed sloping ceilings; they are large and cosy with big panoramic windows. One bathroom has a bath, shower and wc; while the other features a large shower and wc.
With its world famous Matterhorn Mountain, fantastic on piste dining, and wonderful resort ambience travellers from around the world have made sure that there is always a demand for luxury chalets in Zermatt. The ski area is huge and combines with Cervinia in Italy to create a wonderful interlinked ski domain. Zermatt has invested many millions over recent years creating a lift system that rivals any resort in the world and getting from one area to the other is no longer the problem that it once was. Zermatt always had a certain magic and that magic is now set to continue well into the 21st Century.

The resort staff were excellent. Great greeting at train station and transfer to apartment and briefing when there. Always on hand to help out whenever required. Brilliant accommodation and service. Couldn't fault it or the staff. Great apartment. Huge living room with outstanding views of Matterhorn and Trockener Steg ski area. Three good-sized bedrooms with mountain views and two lovely bathrooms. Only 5 mins walk or so from the train station and the Sunnegga lift. Brill ski area - very high and snow sure with lots of snowmaking. Linked to Cervinia in Italy. Only big drawback is that it can get very windy and the lifts (other than the mountain railway) are liable to closure. Great recommendation of accommodation - thank you.
