Chalet Grand Sarire, Val d'Isere, France

On the edge of a pine forest in the beautiful hamlet of Le Fornet in Val d'Isere, Chalet Grande Sarire has a peaceful and traditional atmosphere. Built from light grey Vanoise stone and mountain larch, it perfectly blends into its alpine surroundings. Guests staying here will have excellent access to the huge ski area, and there is a private driver service to quickly take you to the lifts and into the centre of Val d'Isere. After a busy day of skiing, it is easy to ski back to the entrance of the chalet.

Chalet Grand Sarire has 350sqm of living space spread over 5 floors, accommodating up to 16 guests. The chalet is split into two spaces, the main chalet with the living and dining areas, and 5 bedrooms sleeping 12 people. The second area is the chalet apartment, with a separate entrance, with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a smaller living area. The main chalet itself can be booked alone for groups of up to 12 people.

The huge open plan living space includes a huge open-plan living area is 20m long, and there are plenty of sofas and chairs to seat everyone around the roaring log fire. The beautiful dining table, sourced from Paris, is the perfect size for the whole group to sit and dine together. Outside, there is a large wooden deck with cedarwood hot tub. You might be able to spot a mountain ibex or chamois climbing on the mountains above. Climbing the wrought iron stairwell, you will find the bedrooms upstairs. All the rooms can be configured as twins or doubles depending on your requirements. One of the bedrooms has adult-sized bunk beds built from reclaimed wood, and a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom.

Chalet Grand Sarire also has a heated ski room, with large amounts of storage space and boot warmers, and 2 covered parking spaces. Alongside the private driver service, the chalet is staffed by an excellent team including a professional gourmet chef and in-host chalet host.
