On the edge of a pine forest in the beautiful hamlet of Le Fornet in Val d'Isere, luxury Chalet Grande Sarire has been carefully selected for its peaceful and traditional setting as well as its great access to the huge Espace Killy ski area. There is a chauffeured 4x4 to take you to the lifts in the morning (although the Le Fornet cable car station is only a few minute's walk away). After a day on the mountain you can head to the lively apres ski in town, or simply ski back to the door of the chalet and relax in front of a roaring log fire.
Holidays can be defined by exceptional service; whether it's a complimentary ski companion service, a thoughtful restaurant recommendation or anything else to make your holiday more enjoyable. The 4 staff running Chalet Sarire are there to help you when you need them, and will leave you alone when you don't.
Successful group holidays will bring you all together in comfortable communal areas rather than isolating you in your room. Whether you're celebrating or relaxing, the big open plan living and dining areas combine with a large outdoor wooden deck to create the perfect entertaining space.
Chalet Sarire offers 250 square metres of living space (1st, 2nd and 3rd floor of the chalet) and has five bedrooms. It will sleep 12 adults in comfort (one of the bedrooms has an additional adult-sized bunk-bed that will sleep two comfortably if required).
A passion for good food and wine will be injected into the menus. Fusing everyday cooking with modern, fresh seasonal ingredients you will be served with contemporary bistro style food that is not pompous or gratuitous, but something you will enjoy and want to talk about. There will be a menu consultation before your arrival so that menus can be shaped to your needs and tastes.
There is a well stocked wine cellar of excellent quality that come tried and tested or through trusted recommendations, and what holiday wouldn't officially start without complimentary Champagne on arrival? There is also a selection of spirits in the honesty bar which are additionally priced at the end of your stay.
Please note that there is a self contained two bedroomed apartment (4 to 6 people) that occupies the ground floor of the chalet which may be sold separately (it has a separate entrance). This can be booked, however, to accommodate larger parties of 16 to 18 people if required (see details for Chalet Grande Sarire).

Extract from article in the Guardian on-line 5th Feb 2011: A stay here is, inevitably, pricier than most skiing holidays. (However) it's very good value given the food. Most chalet holidays involve a gap-year Charlie or Charlotte serving spag bol or chilli con carne if you decide to dine out, you could easily add 50 gbp per person per day. Here you get a top chef, food locally sourced and cooked right before your eyes.
Mr T B
Nice location, great resort, lift within walking distance and easy access to other lifts of the resort. Staff were excellent, very gentle and helpful yet discrete. Very good cook.
