Season 2020-2021: If you book a holiday and it includes a flight then you have booked a package holiday and you are protected by the Package Travel Regulations. These mean that if your accommodation cannot be provided you are either offered an alternative of the same quality, or a cash refund, or the chance to book again at a later date. As we have seen from experience any monetary refund may take a few months to be paid out but in the meantime your money is protected by the ATOL scheme.
La Ferme du Soleil in Le Grand Bornand is the highest ski-in ski-out chalet in the resort. It catches the late afternoon sun long after the valley has been left in shadow and enjoys the most stunning views due to its prime location on the North West facing slope of the mountainside. It is a beautifully traditional wooden chalet with a local style, featuring a large open log fire located in the centre of the living room. Guests can experience pure comfort and relaxation lounging on the sofas around the fireplace in the evenings.
The rooms are all traditional and cosy with contemporary en-suite bathrooms and can sleep 12 adults along with two children under 12 years old. The chalet can also accommodate additional infants or small children with cots if necessary. There are 4 x double bedrooms, 2 x twins and 1 x bunk room for two children – please note that this configuration can be adjusted if required. Although there are no single rooms you can book a double for single use and pay only a very reasonable supplement of £200 for the week. Please note that if you wish to share the chalet with other guests you must book at least 8 people.
