Apartment Tuftra 6, Zermatt, Switzerland

Apartment Tuftra 6 is located in Zermatt's only ski in ski out district, Winkelmatten, it is right in the middle of the forest and you often see the deer feeding from the balcony. This area is known as the 'Beverly Hills' of Zermatt and has some fantastic restaurants and bars, children's play areas and shops. From the chalet you can ski through the meadow and down to the Klein Matterhorn Express and you can ski back to the door of the chalet down the Moosweg ski-run.

This property has three double/twin en-suite bedrooms. However, there is a second apartment also on the top floor that sleeps 4 to 6 guests opposite meaning that they can be booked together for parties of 10 (or even 12) people. The decor has been done in a beautiful alpine style. Both apartments have a spacious open plan lounge and dining area, open fires and modern fully fitted and equipped kitchens.

The spacious dining and living areas are cladded with mountain spruce, oak wood floors, Swarovski crystal chandeliers and this with the open fireplaces exude comfort and cosiness. From the balconies you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views.

The two Tuftra apartments can be connected or disconnected to accommodate a maximum of 10 - 12 guests. All bedrooms are en-suite and equipped with bath or shower, two bathrooms also have steam showers. Each room has flat screen TV for reception of satellite TV, the living rooms each have a large flat screen. The entire penthouse is equipped with Wi-Fi internet connection.

You can ski to within 20 metres of the chalet building. The centre of resort is either a 15 minute walk or a 4 minute taxi ride away. However, the free bus service stops just 200 metres away from the chalet. There is a good range of shops and bars within 2-3 minutes' walk of the chalet.

Each apartment has its own private laundry facilities with dryer. Floor space of Tuftra 6 is 110 square metres.
