Chalet Lyskamm Lodge, Zermatt, Switzerland

The Lyskamm Lodge in Zermatt was completed in 2025 and is an exciting development exhibiting both architectural and interior design excellence. Studio Birk are responsible for the architectural creativity whilst the interiors have been crafted by Adelene Smith Ng. There are four separate apartment properties and two suites located in two main residence buildings which together share a centralised reception area, modern spa complex and treatment room (there is an in-house therapist with a full list of treatments and massages available). This particular property offers approximately 210 square metres of internal space spread across four floors and four guest bedrooms. The property has been luxuriously finished and fitted out to cater for your every need. Each floor can be accessed by an elegant, oak, spiral staircase or by the internal lift.

Each of the guest rooms has a king double Vispring mattress for extreme comfort, Porto Romana lighting, bespoke Robert Langford bedside tables and headboards, and Corston fittings. The box sprung beds can either be made up as super-kings or if preferred can also be made as twin beds, there are handmade built in birch wardrobes and natural wool carpets with underfloor heating in each bedroom. The bathrooms have Val-stone floors and Tadelakt plaster walls. The two master bathrooms have a bath, separate shower and WC. The two secondary bedrooms each have a private shower room with Cielo basin cabinet and WC.

The spacious and bright top floor sitting room has an open fire, stunning Matterhorn views, south facing balconies, an Oled TV with sound bar and is a lovely space in which to relax and spend time with friends and family. There are smoked oak, herring-bone floors from Trunk, personalised Love Your Home sofas, Tom Faulkner consoles and designer furnishings combining to produce a cosy atmosphere in a chic setting. The dining area has a walnut Carl Hansen & Son dining table and dining chairs that can seat 10 comfortably.

The kitchen is a fully fitted, hand-made, birch-wood kitchen with V Zug appliances, including dishwasher, oven, combi-oven, fridge, freezer, Nepresso and a wine fridge.

On the lower floor of the main residence building is a communal wellness with swimming pool, swim jet, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub as well as a small fitness room. There is also a massage room where an in-house therapist can offer Swedish massage, Indian head massage, foot or full-body massage as well as manicures, pedicures and facials.

This exquisite alpine lodge is located just 100 metres from the Klein Matterhorn Express and has stunning views of the Matterhorn and Hohbalmen Mountains. The adjacent apartment is the Dufourspitz Lodge which sleeps 10 guests across 5 bedrooms. The building on the other side of the shared reception area has two more lodges, the Horu Lodge and Tête Blanche Lodge, as well as the El Alamein and Gerwetsch Suites. The properties can be booked together for larger groups to have additional space.
