Chalet Alex is on the top two floors of Chalet Shalimar which is located in the Winkematten area of Zermatt. You are close to the Matterhorn Express gondola with the centre of Zermatt a scenic 15-minute stroll away or a five-minute taxi ride for quick and easy access.

Although technically an apartment, the high vaulted ceilings of the living and dining areas makes the space feel more like a free standing chalet. The ample 480 square metres of living space means there is plenty of options to spread out. The large living area is comfortable and welcoming with a delightful roaring fireplace in the centre of the room. The large sliding doors open out onto the spacious balcony, providing dramatic Matterhorn views.

Apartment Alex has six spacious twin/double bedrooms, all with private balconies and en-suite bathrooms complete with bathtubs and power showers. The two master bedrooms offer incredible views of the Matterhorn.

After a day’s skiing, head to the spa to unwind. On the lower ground floor of Chalet Shalimar you will find the spa area with a fantastic indoor pool, sauna, hammam and massage room. The spa is shared with the other property in the residence.
