The Gerwetsch Suite in Zermatt is where modern design, luxurious comfort, and breathtaking Matterhorn views come together to create an unforgettable alpine escape. Completed in 2025, this brand-new residence is a showcase of architectural and interior design excellence which is a collaboration between Studio Birk, known for their bold, creative vision, and Adelene Smith Ng, whose interiors embody effortless elegance and warmth.

Located just 100 metres from the Klein Matterhorn Express, the Gerwetsch Suite is ideally positioned to give easy access to the skiing of Zermatt. Set on the ground floor of the second Alpine Lodge residence building, it forms part of an exclusive development featuring four apartments and two suites, all sharing a central reception area and a stunning modern spa complex with pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, and a wellness treatment room.

Inside, every detail has been carefully curated to provide the perfect blend of comfort and style. The guest bedroom features a Vispring double mattress for exceptional nights' sleep, Porta Romana lighting, and bespoke Robert Langford furniture complemented by Corston fittings. A handmade birch wardrobe and natural wool carpets with underfloor heating for year-round comfort complete the living experience.

The handcrafted kitchen is fully fitted with V-ZUG appliances, including an oven, combi-oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, wine fridge, and everything you need for effortless in-chalet dining.

When it’s time to unwind, guests can head downstairs to the communal wellness area, complete with swimming pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, and a small fitness room. The in-house therapist is available for a full menu of indulgent treatments - from Swedish and Indian head massages to facials, manicures, and more.

With spectacular views of the Matterhorn and Hohbalmen Mountains, the Gerwetsch Suite offers the perfect balance of privacy and connection to the ski area. On the floors above are the Tête Blanche Lodge (sleeping 4–5) and Horu Lodge (sleeping 8), and larger properties the Dufourspitz Lodge (sleeping 10) and Lyskamm Lodge (sleeping 8–9). The apartments of the Alpine Lodge can be booked separately or together for larger groups.
