Chalet Dent Blanche, Verbier, Switzerland

Covering a living area of 950 square metres the Luxury Chalet Dent Blanche is certainly one of Verbier's premier chalets. It sleeps a total of 8 adults and 8 children and is conveniently situated in the heart of the village yet discreetly hidden away in a quiet location. Its position on the edge of the Verbier plateau affords breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

The chalet has been traditionally designed with the use of old wood in keeping with the local architectural style. However, the interior blends modern art, beautiful artefacts and furniture with contemporary design to create the height of alpine chic. The property is fitted throughout with the latest in sound and vision systems and has its own cinema room located on the Spa level.

The property is set out over 4 floors, linked by stairs and a lift. The main entrance of the chalet takes you into the 2nd floor where the elegantly furnished dining room and living areas are located. A separate kitchen is also located on this floor. Stairs lead to the 3rd floor where the master double bedroom is located with en suite bathroom. A double children's bunk room sleeping 4 with en suite bathroom is also located on this floor. A further room can be used as a study.

Downstairs from the living room on the 1st floor there are 2 double bedrooms with en suite facilities as well as a further twin bedroom en suite and a double kids bunk room (sleeps 4). Access to the large ski room with boot heaters is from this floor. The ski room opens into the garage with space to park 2 to 3 cars (this is shared with the chalet next door).

The ground floor is given over to the private Spa and entertaining areas. The spa has a beautiful pool, hammam, sauna and gym with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Adjacent to the Spa is a bar area and cinema room. A small bedroom or massage room is also located on this floor with en suite facilities and a separate wc.

An additional pretty 1 bedroom staff apartment, sleeping 2 can also be rented with the chalet at an additional charge.

With 70 luxury Verbier chalets (a number that is constantly growing) it's not hard to see why this world famous ski resort is popular with the rich, famous and wealthy from around the world. The party scene in this vibrant resort is as well known as the fantastic skiing so for a holiday in Verbier you need to be fully fit and on your party A game. Parties stretch long into the small hours and if it's a powder day the next day you will be expected to be up the lifts early in the morning. There's no rest for the wicked in Verbier! The resort centre of Verbier offers some great shopping and the sports centre will keep non skiers happy also. There are some world class restaurants here and the views across to the Dents du Midi mountain range are always spectacular. Verbier has to be in the top five of anyone's best ski resorts list so we would suggest booking a ski holiday here soon!
