Chalet 1936 is situated in a very convenient spot to access the centre of the village and ski lifts which are all within a 3 minute drive away. Once a boutique hotel, Chalet 1936 has been transformed into a eight-bedroom private retreat, blending Alpine charm with a contemporary edge. Perched on the Verbier plateau offers guests unrivalled views of the valley and surrounding peaks from every room.

You enter the chalet on the ground floor with a spacious entrance hall leading into an open-plan living and dining area. Traditional alpine features, antique wood beams and oak flooring combine to create a relaxed setting. Here you can truly unwind, on sofas beside the fireplace or in front of the TV, before enjoying meals around the large dining table, which comfortably accommodates 14 people. Also on this level is a large kitchen and office area with an open stone fireplace.

If relaxation is what you are after the extensive wellness area on the lower ground floor offers an 8 x 3 metre indoor heated pool with swim jets, a hammam, shower room, relaxation and lounge areas, as well as a contemporary gym with a fantastic range of modern equipment. There’s even an outdoor cedar hot tub with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

With a spacious yet cosy cinema room, games room with table tennis and a bar area, you are sure to be kept entertained during your stay.

Chalet 1936 is home to eight beautifully designed bedrooms: seven doubles, which can be configured as twins and a children’s bunk room. The top floor of the chalet is dedicated to the master bedroom, which has a stunning fireplace, roll-top bath, shower room, dressing area and private balcony. There is also a further twin en-suite bedroom in a staff apartment with a separate entrance on the ground floor.
