Chalet V, Verbier (Tzoumaz), Switzerland

Chalet V is located on the sunny Plateau de Villy near the centre of Tzoumaz. With stunning elevated views over the Rhone Valley and over 300 sunshine days a year, thanks to the local micro-climate, this luxurious chalet offers way more than just a comfortable place to stay in the mountains.

Tzoumaz is one of the resorts of the 4 Vallees in Switzerland which offers more than 400km of pisted skiing and world famous off-piste descents from peaks well over 3,000 metres high. Verbier is the mega resort linking into the same ski area but this comes with a considerable price tag attached. Tzoumaz gives all that you need as a ski resort with modern lifts, shops, bars and restaurants and of course access to the same ski area. It may not have the glamour of Verbier but not everyone is bothered about that. What it does offer, however, is lots of value for money.

The chalet provides 5 very comfortable bedrooms and 4 bath/shower rooms. The master bedroom on the top floor also has a lovely balcony. There is a lift connecting all the floors and a separate TV room with large flat screen. In the games room is a table tennis table and also a retro pinball machine. Outside there is an oversized hot tub and a fire-pit. Also on the sun terrace is outdoor dining and lounging furniture which comes into its own in the warmer spring and summer months.

The catering is top notch with all special diets considered. The staff will contact you before arrival to discuss your personal preferences. However, you can also book Chalet V on a self-catered basis if you wish for a reduction in price (please enquire).

The interior of the chalet is more than comfortable. However, the highlight of the property is the chalet's private spa facilities with an all-year heated (to 32 degrees Celsius) outdoor pool, an extra-large hot tub, a sauna and a small steam shower.
