Located at an altitude of 1,700 metres and positioned directly on the slopes above Arabba is the unique Cesa del Louf. This is an extraordinary mountain retreat where tradition and modern luxury exist in perfect harmony. Painstakingly restored from an ancient alpine farmhouse, this remarkable property captures the very essence of the Dolomite mountains offering guests an experience of tranquillity, privacy, and unparalleled comfort. Voted Italy’s Best Ski Chalet in both 2022 and 2023 at the World Ski Awards, Cesa del Louf is more than just a chalet. In fact, it’s a destination in itself whether you visit for a winter’s ski holiday or a summer hiking adventure.

Comprising three interconnected buildings: The Maso (547sqm), The Masetto (280sqm) and The Baitina (80sqm) along with the charming Bee House (10sqm and new for 2025), the property perfectly balances historic alpine character with modern sophistication. Every space reflects a minimalist aesthetic grounded in natural materials: aged wood, local stone, and warm light that enhances the serenity of its surroundings.

Inside, guests experience quiet luxury. The chalet accommodates up to 14 adults (15 including the Bee House), with additional space for larger groups of up to 26 guests using mezzanine and sofa beds. Each of the five main en-suite bedrooms is thoughtfully designed, with several offering separate sitting rooms or mezzanine sleeping areas which are ideal for children.

The private spa is truly exceptional and offers over 120 square metres dedicated entirely to guest wellbeing. Guests can swim against the current in the indoor pool with swim jet, unwind in the sauna or hammam, soothe tired muscles in the hot tub, or simply drift off in the relaxation lounge. A new outdoor hot tub provides a breathtaking vantage point to soak in the mountain air and panoramic Dolomite views. Massage and beauty treatments can also be arranged through the in-house team for a bespoke spa experience.

A discreet, professional team lives on-site to provide chalet hosting, daily housekeeping, and assistance throughout your stay. The experience is intentionally personal yet unobtrusive and allows guests to feel completely at home.

A 700m long private track links the property to the village below, accessible by driver service or, in snowy conditions, the private snowcat. Secure parking is available for up to three vehicles.

Prices are based on 20 guests staying in the Maso and Masetto sections (five suites in total). Reduced rates are available for smaller groups booking The Maso alone (up to 14 guests), while supplements apply for extended groups of up to 26 guests, using all sleeping areas and the Bee House.
