Chalet Vieux Pont, Val d'Isere, France

Built on the cliffs overlooking the Isère river gorge in Val d’Isere, Chalet Vieux Pont is a stunning ski chalet sleeping up to 10 guests. The chalet is just 150m from the Le Fornet cable car station, and guests are able to ski back to the door of the chalet via the Mangard piste.

Set over four floors, there are 5 spacious ensuite bedrooms. The master suite has access to a wrap-around balcony. Another one of the rooms is built directly into the rock face of the river, giving it a truly unique design, with a beautiful antique carved wooden headboard above the bed. Another room has access to its own private terrace area. Most of the bedrooms can be configured as twin or king rooms, depending on your group’s specific requirements.

On the lowest level, there is a spa and wellness suite with an indoor swimming pool and hammam steam room, perfect for relaxing tired muscles at the end of a long ski day. At the entrance to the chalet, there is a private ski & boot storage room with heated boot warmers, ideal for keeping your ski equipment safe.

The beautiful open plan living area can be found on the top floor. The triple aspect windows show off the amazing views down the valley, and flood the room with natural light. There is plenty of space for everyone to sit and enjoy dinner at the reclaimed wood dining table, and there is also a separate breakfast table for 4. The room is centred around the cosy open fireplace, giving it a real sense of alpine charm and character.

Whilst staying in Chalet Vieux Pont, you will be cared for by an excellent team of staff, including a professional chef and in-house chalet host providing concierge service and housekeeping. You will also have the use of a private driver service with 4x4 Land Rover, who can quickly drop you in the centre of the resort or at the main ski lift hub.

Chalet Vieux Pont can be combined with Chalet Rive Gauche perfectly to cater for a group of 20 guests.
