Chalet Akaroa, Val d'Isere, France

Chalet Akaroa is located in a part of Val d’Isere called Le Fornet just outside the main town this is a fairly quiet area with traditional Savoyard charm. The Le Fornet cable car station is only 200 metres from the chalet (approximately a 2 minute walk) and if you want to access the main resort of Val d'Isere the free and very regualar bus service stops just 50 metres from the chalet. This bus service runs every 5 minutes during peak times and runs until 2.00am each night.

The five neat and cosy guest bedrooms are equipped with top-class hotel quality linen and bedding - deep and restful nights are assured. The chalet offers 230 square metres of space across four floors. There is plenty of storage space and up to 12 guests can stay here in comfort. The separate cinema room is also extremely useful, especially for family groups wanting a separate entertaining space for children.

The top of the chalet is dedicated to an open-plan living and dining area featuring a delightful stone fireplace, large flat-screen TV and plenty of inviting seating. The dining table can seat twelve and opposite is a well-equipped kitchen. French doors open onto a balcony with views of the hamlet and snowy surroundings.

A private hot tub can be found on the terrace and is the perfect option for a relaxing end to your day. Below the chalet run the crystal clear waters of the River Isere as melt waters flow towards the main resort.

Chalet Akaroa can be rented together with Chalet Oxalis, a four-bedroom chalet just next door, sleeping up to 18 adults and four children in total.
