Season 2020-2021: If you book a holiday and it includes a flight then you have booked a package holiday and you are protected by the Package Travel Regulations. These mean that if your accommodation cannot be provided you are either offered an alternative of the same quality, or a cash refund, or the chance to book again at a later date. As we have seen from experience any monetary refund may take a few months to be paid out but in the meantime your money is protected by the ATOL scheme.
Chalet Opal is a gorgeous luxury ski chalet in Tignes. It has an excellent location just a short walk from the Almes pistes. The chalet benefits from a shared driver service with its sister property, Chalet Ambre, providing convenient access to the main lift hub.
Chalet Opal has 225sqm of living space. The large open-plan lounge and dining room has a beautiful open fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of comfortable seating. Outside there is a luxurious outdoor hot tub on the terrace, which has amazing views across Tignes to the mountains. There are 5 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 10 guests. The master suite has access to a private balcony, and the other 4 rooms have doors onto the terrace area.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious ski & boot storage room with heated boot warmers.
