Chalet Zems Lodge, Morzine, France

Zems Lodge in Morzine is a truly unique property both in architecture and interior design, and location. Zems Lodge curves on a horizontal plane whilst nestling into the hillside overlooking Morzine. This makes for some stunning views accessible from most of the rooms within the property. The location is more than ideal as you can access the lively alpine town of Morzine in just a few minutes on foot, and the Super Morzine gondola station is close to the chalet.

The chalet is arranged over five floors and covers more than 500 square metres of living space. All floors are connected by stairs, and there is also elevator access between the lower four floors. Sleeping up to 8 adults and 6 children, there are four twin/double en-suite bedrooms and two triple bunk rooms which share a shower room. The rooms are located on the first and second floors.

Guests enter the property on the ground floor, where there is a ski room with heated boot warmers. The elevator whisks you up to the spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the third floor. With a wood-burning fireplace, epic views and comfortable sofas. Doors open onto a large south-facing balcony. One of the highlights of this delightful lodge is the bar area on the top floor of the chalet. Here you can take each other on playing pool or make music with a selection of musical instruments; which include a Fender Telecaster, acoustic guitar and a range of percussion instruments. There is also a TV snug and children's area, with beanbags, on this level. Further entertainment can be found in the cinema room, complete with large projector screen.

When it comes to relaxation the private spa facilities include a relaxation area which leads to the main terrace where you can sink into the large swim spa jacuzzi, or warm up in the glass-fronted sauna which both provide great views.
