The Grand Hotel Courmayeur Mont Blanc is a brand new property consisting of four chalet style buildings: the central clubhouse with all the facilities, and three chalets off to the side which house the 72 rooms and suites. The design is modern and chic in all the communal areas as well as in the bedrooms.
All the bedrooms are large, from the 'Comfort rooms' which are 27 square metres all the way up to the 'Mont Blanc Suite' which offers 70 square metres. The rooms all have Wi-Fi, mountain views, flat-screen TV, telephone, cable channels, safe for lap top, a desk, soundproofing, wooden flooring, a wardrobe, hair dryer, bath robe, courtesy toiletry set, private bathroom, slippers, bath or shower, bidet and minibar.
The hotel also has a superb restaurant (with view over the Brenva Glacier), an in-house lounge and bar with panoramic terrace, cigar bar/lounge as well as an enormous hotel spa with indoor swimming pool (complete with circular waterfall and hydro massage jets), sauna, steam room, chromotherapy showers, alternating hot and cold showers as well as various treatment and relaxation rooms.
The hotel is located 500 metres away from the main pedestrian area of Courmayeur and to get to the lifts (the closest is the Dolonne lift) the hotel runs a private shuttle service in the mornings and afternoons.
