The hotel Hermitage is a charming hotel where service is paramount; the staff are simply exceptional. The general look and feel in the lounge, bar and restaurant is traditional, however the rooms have been recently modernised to a very high standard and now have a contemporary look.
The food is amazing and the chef happily accommodates personal 'tweaks' to dishes.
The staff make this place truly exceptional. Every single one of them is attentive and helpful, without being overbearing. From day one they remembered our names, what we drank, where we preferred to sit and also where we liked to be dropped off / picked up in the hotel Land Cruiser. The service at dinner was of particular note as the conversation and interaction was genuine and friendly (not stuffy and pretentious like some high class restaurants).
The Spa area is well equipped with all you need to relax after a day on the slopes; steamroom, sauna, jacuzzi, indoor pool and various treatment rooms.
The Hermitage is just 300 metres from the resort centre and the main lifts although the hotel do provide a shuttle service for their guests..
