Hotel Mont Blanc, Megeve, France

This is a legendary hotel in the heart of Megeve, the Hotel Mont Blanc has the advantage of a really exceptional situation being next to the Chamois telepherique and having the shops, bars and restaurants of this fabulous resort on its doorstep. The Mont Blanc is a true luxury hotel decorated in lavish alpine style. The antique wood's warmth blending with English country house, Austrian and Savoyard decor giving the Le Mont Blanc a unique style. It's the location where Roger Vadim filmed his Liaisons Dangereuses and has long been frequented by admirers of the Alpine fantasy from Charles Aznavour and Rita Hayworth to ex-President Mitterand.

Megeve is the essence of rustic chic and was the original purpose built French resort, conceived in the 1920's as France's alternative to Switzerland's St Moritz. Although Courchevel took over as France's swankiest resort a while ago, there are still many 'beautiful people' who visit the resort and stay in the many smart, luxury hotels.

We say...
The Mont Blac continues to be one of the true iconic hotels in Megeve. Recently having had a face lift she looks as elegant and stylish as ever; add to that the amazing restaurants, new spa area and efficient and friendly service and you you the winning combination.
