Hotel Mont-Blanc, Chamonix, France

Hotel Mont-Blanc is situated in the heart of Chamonix sitting in the calm of its shaded, floral gardens. This former grand 19th century hotel has everything to ensure you have a marvellous stay. After being closed for a couple of years, the hotel will open its doors for business once again for the winter season 2013/14. The famous French interior designer Sybille de Margerie has worked her magic on this amazing project, the result being a blend of contemporary touches with cozy and elegant features befitting this traditional building which has been at the heart of Chamonix for over a century.

The spacious rooms and suites will blend chic French decor with authentic Alpine tradition and incorporate all the latest modern gadgets to play with. The restaurant will be run by chef Guy Martin from the famous Grand Vefour in Paris. Guy originally from the local Savoie region has created a modern and colourful cuisine, bringing together the best of French and Italian flavours.

Chamonix has changed dramatically over the years to become an upmarket town with smart shops, fantastic restaurants and great luxury Chamonix hotels such as this.

We say...
The Mont-Blanc has been under reconstruction for going on two years now so you can expect something special when its doors open in December 2013. We will post a new comment when we have had the opportunity to look around and report back.
