Hotel Rote Wand, Zug, Austria

The luxury Hotel Rote Wand is one of those boutique properties that only those in the know find. It is hidden, tucked away (like any gem should be) in the tiny but charming hamlet of Zug which has the great luck to be on the Lech/Zurs ski circuit, thereby giving guests direct access to the wonderful ski area of the Arlberg.

The Rote Wand is a modern, chic hotel with stylish minimalist decor. However, it is the friendly relaxed atmosphere and attentive, professional staff that makes this hotel really great.

It also happens to offer one of the best terrace dining experiences in the Arlberg. It is wonderfully tranquil, boasts great views and serves superb food and wine. Combine this with excellent service and a lunch on the terrace on a warm, sunny day is really something you will never forget.

Zug, and the Rote Wand in particular, suits those that want to really get away from it all and just relax in the mountain air.

We say...
Traditional from the outside yet contemporary from the inside. The Rote Wand is a fantastic hotel steeped in tradition but having recently had a complete revamp of all of the rooms and suites. We recommend this as a great place to stay for adults and families with young children.
