The Gasthof Post in Lech is one of the very best luxury hotels in Austria. This hotel benefits from being very relaxed compared from some of its more formal rivals in this exclusive resort. This property which was originally a staging post has been in the Moosbrugger family for over sixty years now. Run by Florian and his wife Sandra you can be sure to receive a personable and hospitable service here. The restaurant here is one of the best in resort, this combined with the extensive wine list which features many interesting Austrian wines, makes this a special place to enjoy an evening meal. The facilities here are typically five star and include the most stunning indoor/outdoor pool and spa area. The Gasthof post is an incredibly popular hotel so early booking is very much recommended.
The bedrooms here could not be more delightful. They are truly traditional alpine in style but with modern features to ensure they exceed the 5 star standard. They vary from the spacious double rooms to the excellent Jager rooms which are even bigger. The hotel also has some beautiful apartments which are ideal for families or friends and the Fursten and Herzog suites are the height of Luxury. There is also a small chalet just over the road from the hotel with two lovely suites.
