Hotel Weisses Rossl, Kitzbuhel, Austria

The historic Weisses Rossl is Kitzbuhel's leading luxury 5 star hotel. Dating back 500 years, it retains many of its original features including part of the old city wall.

Furnished in a typical country house style, the 67 rooms and suites are equipped with all amenities of a leading 5 star hotel. When designing the rooms much importance was attached to a private atmosphere and cosiness. Precious materials like silk, satin and marble perfect in form and design. Rooms are available as singles, twins and doubles and there are also junior suites, suites and grand suites available.

May it be the deliciousness of the breakfast buffet, culinary creations for fine dining or wine degustation in the historic wine cellar, the Harisch Hotel Weisses Rossl Kitzbuhel meets the highest demands on high quality cuisine.

Guests, who book half board, enjoy a breakfast buffet with local specialities like homemade marmalade, farm bread and fruit juices. In the evening the hotel serves a 7-course-gourmet dinner in the main restaurant.

Kitzbuhel is a lively and atmospheric old town. The skiing is largely suited to intermediates although there is plenty of good off-piste for experts and fabulous mountain restaurants.

Some reviews on Trip Advisor argue that the 5 star rating is perhaps not entirely merited in today's high standards. It's true - there are perhaps some of those tiny details that are missing. However, what the Weisses Rossl does do very well are the important things - good food; well appointed bedrooms with decent beds, and wonderfully helpful, charming and efficient staff (always there with a smile). In our opinion these qualities more than merit its 5 star status. The pool is wonderful and the spa area is large with all that you could need (although it is a bit of a rabbit warren of a place). The Weisses Rossl is a charming,
