Luxury Chalet Arosa is part of a small private hamlet (called Chalet Suisses) on the secluded sun-kissed knoll of Le Cret, one of the earliest and most charismatic enclaves of Val d'Isere. The four stone and slate chalets blend the ambiance of an old stone village and traditional Alpine decor with every contemporary comfort.
The chalet boasts a spectacular living area with a delightful mezzanine, huge squashy sofas and a discreet wall mounted widescreen plasma screen with DVD and cinema surround sound. This is a true picture-postcard chalet with weathered oak floors, massive timber ceilings and marble clad bathrooms. Arosa boasts a fabulous spa area with hot tub and private terrace, and antique furniture, snug mountain fabrics and alpine memorabilia complete this dream mountain hideaway.
Val d'Isere is widely acclaimed to be one of the top resorts in the world, with one of the best snow records in Europe. Linked with neighbouring Tignes, there are over 300km of pistes, vast areas of off piste and skiing as high as 3,000m. Val d'Isere is home to some of the Alps most luxurious chalets, offering guests a truly 1st class service with gourmet food, indoor spas, hot tubs, and state of the art entertainment systems. Val d'Isere is also home to a bevy of luxurious 5 star hotels and gourmet restaurants such as the Michelin starred La Becca.

The staff were very good - helpful, good with the children, dealt with our concerns very quickly. The chalet offered a good standard of accommodation. Very comfy sofas. Shame there is no outside hot tub. We appreciated Alpine Answers' suggestion that we used Newgen Ski School in Val d'Isere - they provided an excellent instructor for the older 4 children in our party (although they didn't have a class suitable for our 6 year olds during the week we stayed there).

Chalet staff were excellent - very pleasant and food was very good. The resort bus service was more hit and miss. Chalet and service were both much better than previous tour operators used (Ski Total & Ski Val). Chalet Arosa was very good. It had a good lay out; nice decor and was a pretty chalet. Room's decent size. Living room would tight for 10 adults but was fine for our party of 4 adults and 6 children.
