Luxury Chalet de la Lune is a 400 year old farmhouse that has been lovingly restored by its owner to make a fabulous mountain retreat that you find nestled in the heart of the village. The open-plan stone vaulted living and dining room is the heart of the chalet - a spectacular setting to unwind in after a satisfying day in the mountains. As Sean Newsom of the Sunday Times put it "anyone raised on the utilitarian standards of most Alpine accommodation - will be struck dumb". There is ample space for everyone to snuggle up together in front of the fire, that is if you can resist the draw of the den downstairs. There are games, films and plenty of books to keep everybody entertained.
The bedrooms have been beautifully refurbished and have exposed beams, deep windowsills, beautiful fabrics and under-floor heating. All have en-suite bath or shower rooms, complete with bathrobes, slippers and divine bathroom toiletries from Cowshed.
Only steps from the centre of the village, this unique Savoyard farmhouse is hidden away in the historical part the old village in a wonderfully peaceful location. A few hundred people live in the timeless Savoyard village of St Martin de Belleville, a glittering jewel in the world famous 3 valleys. At the same height as Meribel, and with an 8-person gondola whisking you into the heart of the 3 valleys immense ski area, it is almost impossible not to fall in love with this area.
Chalet La Lune is available for exclusive bookings, families or smaller groups looking to share meals with like-minded guests.
St Martin de Belleville has been voted a "Top 10 Picture Postcard Resort" by Peter Hardy (travel journalist). It is a very traditional Savoyard village with an old church, small square, pleasant buildings and very easy links into the entire Three Valleys ski area. St Martin de Belleville is also known for its traditional restaurants which serve local Savoyarde dishes with a smile and 4 of which are listed in the Michelin guide. One of these is the famous La Bouitte Restaurant (2 Michelin stars!) which is located in the neighbouring hamlet - perfect for the chalet staff night off as the restaurant has it's own shuttle service!
There are two spa centres (one that is part of La Bouitte restaurant) with Jacuzzi and sauna as well as treatments so there is something to do for non skiers. Right next to the main lift station is ESF Piou Piou creche that takes children from 2,5 to 6 years and can look after kids all day and provide lunch.

The chalet was first class. Husband and wife team, Cookie and Lou, a mature couple, are an excellent combination who we were very fortunate to have as our hosts. Cookie is a superb chef, and Lou looked after us very well indeed. We could not have asked more of them.
Mr J B
Very good, Daisy met us at the chalet & gave us all the necessary information needed for our weeks skiing & organised & drop off lift passes for us all. Holly our chef was first class & produced consistently good food all week, probably the best we have experienced on a skiing holiday. Rob, who assisted Holly within our chalet was a really nice guy & made us all feel very welcome.
Mr G H
The resort staff were brilliant. Excellent staff, high quality throughout all products and services. We were incredibly well looked after. The Chalet La Lune was very good but a little small for 13 possibly, but well-kept and well presented.
